KiKA: Videos für Kinder

The KiKA app (formerly the KiKA Player app) is the free media library from the children's channel of ARD and ZDF and offers children's series, children's films, and videos for children to stream and watch offline, as well as the TV program via live stream.

Did your child miss "Schloss Einstein" or "Die Pfefferkörner"? Did you search for "Unser Sandmännchen" at night because your kids can't sleep? With the KiKA app, you can easily find many programs, children's series, and children's films from KiKA. Whether it's fairy tales and films, Fireman Sam, Löwenzahn, or the Smurfs – we have something for everyone. Check out our media library!

📺 TV PROGRAM
Want to know what's on TV? The KiKA TV program is always available as a live stream. Your child can jump back two hours and watch the programs they just missed. And they can see what's airing today.

✈️ MY OFFLINE VIDEOS
Are you out and about with your kids and don't have Wi-Fi or enough mobile data to watch your favorite series? Simply save videos to your offline area beforehand. This way, kids can watch our children's programs anytime, anywhere with the KiKA app – whether at home or on the go.

🙂 MY PROFILE - MY AREA
Does your younger child especially like KiKANiNCHEN, Super Wings, and Shaun the Sheep, but your older sibling would rather watch the educational programs and series for older children like Checker Welt, logo!, PUR+, the WGs, or Die beste Klasse Deutschlands? Each child can create their own profile and save their favorite videos in the "I Like" section, watch videos they've started later in the "Continue Watching" section, or save them for offline use. Whether it's a heart-shaped bear, a cyclops, or a unicorn – everyone can choose their own avatar and customize the app to their own liking.

📺 STREAM VIDEOS TO YOUR TV
Is your tablet or phone too small for you? Would you rather watch your favorite series or movies together as a family or with friends? With Chromecast, you can stream the videos to the big screen. The KiKA app is also available as an HbbTV offering on your smart TV. This way, you can bring children's programming directly into your living room.

ℹ️ INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
The family-friendly KiKA app (formerly the KiKA Player app) is protected and age-appropriate. It only displays children's films and series that are appropriate for children. Only age-appropriate videos are recommended based on the age information in the profile. In the parents' area, parents will find additional features to tailor the content even more to their children. It is possible to limit the display of videos throughout the app to films and series for preschool children. The live stream can be turned on and off. You can also set the available video time using the app's alarm clock. The public children's program remains free, non-violent, and ad-free as usual.
