not particularly pleased with the recent changes from "amigo" to just "GPS". I'm missing the linking it to the car, but far worse is the fact that you are very late in updating the texts for the directions you want to go. e.g. when going in .nl from the A12 onto the A28 you tell us to follow roadsigns for "Groningen". they aren't there. The signs say "Hengelo" and other places. that isn't the only place where the app is effectively misdirecting the user.

The Amigo version had very good and detailed turn by turn instructions, the new TomTom app sends me in complete wrong directions when navigating by sound alone. "Turn left then turn right" sending me into the wrong street on the right when it used to say something like "turn left" "keep left" and much later "turn right". +Volume adjustment when navigating instructions are being spoken still doesn't work like the Amigo version.

Hi Martin, apologies for the hassles. Did you test the latest version 10.54.2 for routing and voice quality? If not, try it and please update us. For volume, use the side button of phone to turn up/ down the volume and test it again. Awaiting your response. ^Jas

Coming from Waze, this app has a couple of surprising features which I wouldn't want to go without anymore. Automatic start makes the app start as soon as the phone connects to your car's Bluetooth. Voice confirms add SO much more safety on the road. Instead of having to look at your phone and reach for the button to confirm if a hazard still exists, you can just say 'yes' or 'no'. And the location of emergency vehicles gets updated life on the map. Not just a warning every x minutes. Love it
