So so...am using this app in conjunction with their LED light pad. Most slides scanned OK, but there were frequent problems where the scans were totally blurred (any picture that was blurred remained blurred in multiple attempts to re-scan). Same problem with color accuracy, where, for example, violet and light blue wild flowers scanned as almost black and white. Problematic results, particularly if you are archiving lots of slides.

3 days trial is not enough when they ask 44 CHF/year or a one time (!!) payment of 60 CHF with the small print "valid 2 years". Worst of all, this is only for slides and if you happen to have negatives too you have to buy their FilmScan App for the same amount. A rip off. Would work ok otherwise. Except for the automatic cropping that can't be turned off and keeps getting it wrong. Images that would be fine as scanned are cropped and have to be edited and recropped by hand.

Tried the few slides that were free. It will only let you scan a few for free then they want money. I was very disappointed with the quality of the free scans and certainly would not pay anything for it. I had most of my slides converted professionally and that was worth the cost but have since found a few I would like to add. Not worth paying for the few to be done and was hoping there was something I could do myself. Would not mind paying a bit if the quality was there.
